Please join SAFE in the Bitterroot under the stars for our Annual Spring Fundraiser, where we will come together to showcase and celebrate the life-saving work that SAFE provides to the Bitterroot Valley. This year's theme, "SAFE Under the Stars," celebrates what becomes possible when a community stands behind survivors. 

When someone first walks through SAFE’s doors, their wishes are often simple. A safe place to sleep. Food in the fridge. A door that locks. A night without fear. For many survivors, those are the first stars they dare to wish upon. Since 1988, SAFE has helped turn those first, fragile wishes into reality. What began as a grassroots effort—volunteers opening their own homes to women fleeing domestic violence—has grown into a comprehensive organization providing shelter, advocacy, legal support, prevention education, and long-term stability. But the story does not end with basic safety. With support, stability, and community behind them, survivors begin to wish for more: A permanent home; a steady job; education or training; healthy relationships; a future where their children feel secure and confident. SAFE exists to help those bigger wishes come true.

Guests are encouraged to be creative and have fun with the theme, with an attire of 'Celestial Chic.' The Online Silent Auction will begin on May 10th, and will culminate with a Live Auction at the event on May 16th. In addition to the Live Auction, the event will include a catered gourmet dinner and desserts, a cash bar, live entertainment and dancing, a costume contest, a Sapphire Draw, and more! Tickets will go on sale at the end of March, and event sponsorships are available.
